Meet Samara King

1-Tell the readers a little about yourself.   Well, I’ve been writing since I was thirteen and sneaking to the back of the library with Silhouette Desires. The locations within the stories always took my mind on some sort of getaway. I became addicted to alpha males and the strong heroines that challenge them.

2-As an author, do you take time to read? Yes, actually more now, because it feeds the creativity well inside of me. There’s always something to learn and just for the pure sake of enjoyment. If so, what do you like to read and who is/are your favorite author/s? I’m a romance and suspense fan so, I always reach for Brenda Jackson, Debra Webb and the list goes on.

3-How do you stay motivated when the Muse is uncooperative? My muse can be fickle, so I’m learning to just go into our respective corners and I play music, do something else to be creative and to fed the need to be so.

4-If you could go anywhere in the world on a romantic getaway, what would you do and where would you go? I am dying to go to the Mexican Rivera. It’s calling me, sandy beaches and fruity drinks. Sigh, I can feel that breeze now. J

5-What is the hardest thing for you to write? Sometimes its hard to stand by and watch characters jump in with both feet, and as the writer you want to smack them and say “wake up” lol. But you have to stand back and watch what they will do to get out of their messes, sometimes like children.

6-If you could live the life of one of your characters who would you be? I’d have to say Cassidy Raleigh-Sebastien from Pulse. She was strong and spirited and when faced with danger she showed her true strength. I love strong heroines.

7-The tag line on my blog is ‘Indulge Your Inner Romantic.’ What do you do to indulge? I think romancing self is important as well as being romantic to each other as a couple, but as women, we often forget how vital it is to recognize how divine we are and time is usually a factor. So I break up ME time into every day pieces. Whether it be meditation, a bubble bath, pedicure, or just fixing a nice dinner for myself with a bottle of wine.

In the Public Eye - Interracial sensual romance

The Panty Affair - Interracial erotic romance
Lingerie Designer Reese Simmons left one-time lover, business magnate Liam Avery, but when a chance to grow her design company comes along and taking him up on an indecent proposal maybe just the ticket to get him out of her system.
Liam Avery is a man who believes in taking risks and the only risk he is not willing to take is having Reese walk out of his life again. He'll do anything he can to make sure that doesn't happen, even offer her an indecent proposal for a night of wild sex, one strip of lace at a time!
Flirting with Danger – Paranormal multicultural romance

Hi Samara thanks so much for being here. Chef has prepared a lovely buffet, and Tyrell (my bartender) has mixed a pitcher of his killer margaritas. Or anything that suits your fancy.

I'm looking at your book covers and they are so eye catching. Congratulations and good luck on your endeavors.
