Hump Day Inspiration

I have thought about nothing else all week. A few things. Just want to thank Em Petrova for inviting me to chat with her and Suzanne Rock last night. It was so totally awesome, like sitting at the table with total rock stars.

Somehow I managed to find a few drool worthy items this week. I've always loved shoes, but didn't get into designer until I saw the movie 'Sex in the City.' And fell in love.

No? Not what you were hoping for? Okay. Okay. I'll stop teasing. How about this. Umm, I think he could use a cold drink, don't you?

I loved the answers I received.

Yes, Bozo was from my hometown AND graduated from my high school. His name was Bob Bell. Mr. Bell received an Emmy for playing Bozo in 1970 and was inducted in the Clown Hall of Fame a year before he passed away.

December 30, 1936-February 1937 The Union staged a strike in the Fisher plant.

Every year in August, people from all over the world flock to downtown for the Crim Festival of Races.

And all of these lovely event occurred in my hometown of Flint, Michigan. Just Michigan was acceptable as well. :-)
