Finally...It's December

Hi All,

Always be prepared, because you never know what path life is going to take. December is here. I have a bit of news. My Santa story 'Stealing Christmas' sold. I'm currently waiting for the contract from Wild Rose Press. I so excited I can hardly wait. Interesting the Santa story was the first story I submitted this year.

In other news, I'm blogging at Theresa Stillwagon's tomorrow, a recipe may be involved.

Whispers is hosting a Coffee & Cream Christmas Event at the Author's Blog. Check it out.

Also the Name My Chef Contest is still going on, so don't forget to add your suggestion to the hat. And you enter more than once.

I'm thinking I may choose the winner on Saturday while I'm taking over Facebook.

Oh and I won NaNo. Like how could I forget. lol. So much went on the month of November. I had edits and deadlines, new contracts, vacation, Thanksgiving. Oh yeah. So I'll be adding a new badge to my blog.

I loved the answers I received.

Yes, Bozo was from my hometown AND graduated from my high school. His name was Bob Bell. Mr. Bell received an Emmy for playing Bozo in 1970 and was inducted in the Clown Hall of Fame a year before he passed away.

December 30, 1936-February 1937 The Union staged a strike in the Fisher plant.

Every year in August, people from all over the world flock to downtown for the Crim Festival of Races.

And all of these lovely event occurred in my hometown of Flint, Michigan. Just Michigan was acceptable as well. :-)
